2018 Social Media Planning Guide
Struggle with what to post on social Media? I totally get it. Finding the RIGHT balance of personal posts and calls-to-action for potential clients/promoters can be tricky!
Here are just a few tips to ensure people LOVE following your page, and are more likely to see/share your content:
ONE: BE YOURSELF! What are the 3 adjectives people would use to describe you? Make sure these attributes come across in your posts!
TWO: Talk to your IDEAL CLIENT. Stop trying to make everyone happy- Who CARES if your great aunt likes your post (unless, of course, she loves to refer people to you...) ? Instead, focus on providing content that will make your dream customer want to connect with you.
THREE: Use the 80-20 rule. 80 percent of your posts should be lifestyle posts, that show who you are and engage others. Sure, you can have your product off to the side in your selfie, but DON'T make it the focus! 20 percent of your posts should be "call to action" posts- and they should be evenly split between offering free content, and inviting others to try your product/service!
FOUR: DON'T USE STOCK PHOTOS! Don't use your company's stock photo, if at all possible. People don't care about your product- they care about YOU, and will relate to your products/services THROUGH the connection they feel to you. NO connection almost always equals NO sale.
